YouMap, an interactive social mapping app created with the help of Miquido team, was awarded for its ‘Best Visual Design – Function’ in the group of ‘apps and software’ at the 26th Webby Awards Internet Celebration. The nominees in the contest were selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, composed of over 2,000 industry experts and technology innovators. Winners were selected based on the results of a People’s Voice poll.
YouMap – a functional design pioneer recognised worldwide
The Webby Awards is the leading international organisation that honours excellence on the Internet. This year, Webby received more than 14,300 entries from all 50 U.S. states and 70 countries worldwide. The title of a Webby Nominee means recognition as one of the five best apps in the world in a particular category, granted by the selective IADAS jury. The distinction of the Winner defines the app as a global pioneer in the industry.
Innovation, creativity, and big plans for the growth
“YouMap has set the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet. This award is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators,” – announced Claire Graves, the Executive Director of The Webby Awards.
YouMap earned its global recognition after being launched for less than a year, but the team is far from complacent.
“Moving forward, we plan to focus on growing our user base and continuing to build innovative digital experiences to give communities and the next generation of leaders a better way to map their human story,” claims Stephen Constantinedes, the founder of YouMap.
